Back on Askøy

Except for meeting people from the Internet, I also have a thing for Askøy, which is an island close to Bergen. 

Because Kryštof didn't know what he was missing that he'd never been there, we'd decided to take a trip there. On Sunday morning, he picked me up in his father's old Toyota Corolla in the city centre and we drove there. So much more comfortable than taking a bus! :)  

First we went up the Dronningen, which is the highest mountain of the island. It took about 30 minutes to get up, so you can imagine how "high" the mountain is. We spent about two hours up there, enjoying the sun and I was also enjoying my book Pretty Little Liars. 

Second destination was a big lake (Båtavikvatnet) I got fond of in summer 2008. We have this fight with Kryštof where we're gonna bath this summer, I am fighting for Båtavikvatnet and he wants us to go swimming somewhere close to Åsane. I think he liked the lake but we'll still have to visit his place, too.
